I am a 5th year Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Economics, University of Utah. My primary research interests span topics on functional income distribution, globalization, structural change and minimum wage policy. My job market paper examines the decline in labor share of income in US Manufacturing subsectors between 1979 and 2019. I hold an MA in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelors in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. Prior to my Ph.D. I worked as a business analyst for the Group Risk Economics division (Stress Testing) at Hong Kong Shanghai Banking corporation in Bangalore, India. In my leisure hours, I like going on hikes, writing comic strips and cooking a good Indian meal.

I am on the 2023-2024 job market and available for interviews.
